CGPA Calculator for United International University

📌 Overview

This tool helps students at UIU easily calculate their CGPA and GPA for individual trimesters. You can add courses with credits and grades, calculate overall GPA/CGPA, and get a summary of your academic performance, including probation counts and failed credits.

🛠️ How to Use

Follow these steps to calculate your CGPA and GPA accurately!

Step-1: Enter Initial CGPA & Credits 🔣

Initial Credits: Enter the total credits you've earned so far. 
Current CGPA: Enter your latest CGPA. These will serve as a base for your calculations.

Step-2: Add a Trimester ➕

Click the “Add Trimester” button to add a new trimester section.
Each trimester can contain multiple courses, and the CGPA will update as you add courses.

Step-3: Add Courses to the Trimester 📘

In each trimester, click “Add Course” to add a course. For each course:
Course Name (optional): Enter the course code or name for easy reference.
Credit: Select credits (1, 2, or 3) for the course, or enter a custom value.
Grade: Choose the grade earned. Grades affect CGPA and GPA calculations.
💡 Tip: "F" grades are counted in CGPA but marked as failed. “W” (Withdrawn) grades won’t impact CGPA.

Step-4: Calculate Your Results 📊

Once all courses are added, click “Calculate CGPA” to see:
CGPA: Your cumulative GPA.
Trimester GPA: GPA for each trimester.

Additional Stats:

  • 📘 Completed Courses
  • 🎓 Total Taken Courses
  • ❌ Failed Credits
  • ⚠️ Probations (for GPA < 2.0 in any trimester)

Step - 5: Additional Actions

Remove Courses or Trimester: Use the ❌ (cross) button to delete a course or trimester.
Reset Results: Click “Reset Result” to clear previous calculations.

Notes

Important Note *
Accuracy: While this tool is designed to calculate GPA and CGPA based on standard grading criteria, double-check all inputs, especially credits and grades, for accurate results.
Withdrawn (W) Courses: Withdrawn courses are excluded from calculations but will still appear in your academic record.
Probation Alert: The probation count provided is a guide based on GPA performance per trimester. Official probation status depends on university policies.
CGPA Tracking: This tool provides an estimate of your academic standing; for official CGPA, refer to UIU’s academic records.
